LIFE TEEN

High school can be an exciting time: football games, lots of sports, academic opportunities, clubs and so on.  It can also be a little scary at times.

Which is why St. Columba’s Life Teen program is great for everyone!

We are very glad to begin this year’s Life Teen! We hope that you will join us for life teen on a regular basis and make this organization your own! Being Catholic is a very precious thing and to have good Catholic friends makes living in the south a little easier! Join us for mass at 5 pm on Sundays and afterwards for a life night!

~Nikki and Brandon 673-1252.

Scripture Study resumes in the Upper Room on August 14th at 7pm. We hope you will join us to grow in your Catholic faith.

Life Teen Mission Trip - July 1-7 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

As most of you know, Life Teen had planned a mission trip to Charlotte, NC the first week of July. On our way to Charlotte, we had severe bus problems that hindered us from making it to our mission trip. Our main concern was the safety of the teens. While it was very emotional and discouraging, I want to give credit to the 10 teens who were with Kenny Passante and myself. They handled the set-back very well and knowing God does things for a purpose, we decided to comeback home to Dothan and plan another trip in the future. Please know that the money we raised from our 30 hour fast will go to another mission trip. We are currently planning a trip to Mississippi to continue to help those in need from Hurricane Katrina. We are very grateful of the support of this church and know that God will supply all our needs! As always, you are in our prayers. We know first hand that your prayers work because we all came home safe. God bless you all. Nikki Sherer
