St. Columba parish is a welcoming and nurturing community. The ministry of Pastoral Services for Families recognizes these needs in our parishioners. 

Some of the services provided in keeping with these needs are:

Welcoming new families and individuals to the Parish

Coordinating information and referral services for parishioners

bullet

Directing parish outreach on issues affecting the sacredness of life

bullet

Coordinating parish bereavement ministry, especially the Grief Support Group

bullet

Coordinating community among parishioners over 50, especially the Iona Club

bullet

Providing pastoral counseling and spiritual guidance

bulletCoordinating contact with parishioners discharged from hospitals and parishioners in assisted living facilities and nursing homes
