The sacramental preparation program for Confirmation at St. Columba requires participation in Mass and the Faith Formation Program (Life Nights) for the two years immediately prior to the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation. Mass attendance should be made a priority in every family throughout our lives. All family members should be aware of the obligation of attending Mass each and every week (except in cases of illness). All students must attend at least 75% of the Faith Formation sessions which occur during Life Nights on Sunday evenings throughout the two year preparation period. Attendance records will be kept.

The Archdiocese of Mobile requires the confirmation program be a two year preparation process. Any young person in grade 9 or above this year is eligible to enter the program.
