Adults and High School Students are invited to join us for a Lenten study group on the Sunday readings. We will be utilizing the book “Disciples on the Journey” as the basis for these sessions. The Adult session will meet from 8:30-9:45am on Sunday mornings and the High School session will run from 3:15-4:45pm on Sunday afternoons from February 10th-March 16th. SCRIPTURE STUDY... “The Way of Justice and Peace” from Little Rock Scripture Study will be offered starting Wednesday, January 23rd. This 6 week study helps us reflect on God’s call and our response. It will be facilitated by Lyn Heffernan and held in the Adult Conference Room of the Education Building at 9:45am. The study set is available at the parish office.

Although the photography sessions for the directory have come to an end you can still be included. If you were not photographed by Olan Mills you may submit your own family photo to be included in a special section of the directory. The photo should be 4x6 in size or smaller. Place your photo in an envelope to the attention of Gigi Schuyler and either put it in the collection basket at Mass or take it by the Church Office. The Introduction to Centering Prayer retreat specifically teaches how to do Centering Prayer. Private rooms and the ability to maintain silence are required. The fee $175.00 per person includes private room, meals and program. The retreat will be held at the Benedictine Sisters Retreat Center (Sacred Heart Monastery) in Cullman, Alabama. The Fall session of Pilates begins Tuesday, September 4th from 10am -11am. This class works on abdominal and back strength, flexibility, balance, muscle tone and stress reduction. Bring a mat. Catholic Social Service Pregnancy Support Services Program provides counseling, medical referrals, assistance and support to teens and women who are experiencing an unexpected pregnancy. Free, confidential case work services are provided by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Services are also available to assist family members and significant others.
